Special Issue Call for Papers:
Digital technologies and innovative applications in engineering education: cloud
computing and innovations in computer laboratories, social media integration-pros and
cons, future of mobile devices and potential use in education, role of online games in
enhancing teaching and stimulating learning in engineering courses, and future
applications of virtual reality technologies in engineering education.
Digital contents in engineering education: effective use of online information in
designing digital content for engineering courses, modeling and simulation methods in
engineering education, effectiveness and novel applications of virtual laboratories in
traditional and non-traditional classrooms and other learning environments, and data
management, organization, and presentation for teaching and learning of engineering
concepts.
Digital technologies enhanced engineering pedagogy: effective curricula
adaptations, modifications, and successful substitution methods enabled by digital
technologies, with dynamic and cross-disciplinary integration of engineering education
tools and resources, the role of online information in educating “Globally integrated”
engineers, fostering engineering entrepreneurship, and research experiences for
undergraduates. Papers on assessment and innovative pedagogical practices are also
encouraged for submission
