Special Issue Call for Papers:

To overcome the challenges above, we plan this feature topic to help both academic and industrial research communities understand the recent research progress and contribute to the emerging technologies towards 5G mmWave small cell. Topics of interest include, but not limited to, the following:

mmWave system and architecture design
Interference management and spatial reuse in mmWave networks
Capacity and coverage evaluation for mmWave small cell
Multiple access techniques in mmWave networks
Self-healing for mmWave small cell network
Self-optimization for mmWave small cell network, including resource allocation, traffic steering, load balancing, etc.
Efficiency, stability and convergence of SON algorithms

Low cost and high efficiency transceiver design for mmWave systems
Power management/Energy issues for mmWave small cell network
Backhaul network architecture and protocols design
