University Rey Juan Carlos is a public research university located in the city of Madrid in Spain. The university offers plenty of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees across five academic departments—Law and Social Sciences, Sciences, Health Sciences, Engineering and Architecture, and Arts and Humanities. With over 46,000 students, it is the second biggest university in the Madrid region in terms of student population.

The university, named after King Juan Carlos I of Spain and established in 1996, is among the youngest universities founded in Spain. It is currently divided into six campuses in the following locations in the Madrid region: Aranjuez, Alcorcón, Madrid, Fuenlabrada, and Móstoles.
