Mobile Intelligence Research focuses on applications of elements of intelligence to different areas, including automatic control, pattern recognition, electronic and mobile commerce, e-finance, e-payment, telecommunications, vision, forecasting, learning, data communication, and wireless optimization. Future e-commerce industry as a whole is experiencing a huge increase in the use of data driven intelligent computing that goes way beyond what we imagined ten years ago. Mobile intelligence is manifested in many different ways, including our abilities to modeling, analysis, integration, monitoring, and management interact with business environment. Mobile data is being collected in different formats, at unprecedented speeds, and from many different sources. There are increasingly complex challenges, with a need to leverage large amounts of heterogeneous data to develop computational intelligence solutions for process optimizations, monitoring, and control applications. Design of the tools imitating human abilities is important task of Mobile Intelligence. such as healthcare and neuroscience, design and art, Internet of Things, computer vision and speech processing, imaging and 3D data, education and learning, climate, economy and finance.
This special section focuses on high quality research papers that address significant and Future Mobile Intelligence application and related system development issues in the emerging sustainable wireless applications. It invites high quality research contributions from a wide range of professions, including scholars, researchers, academicians and industry people. Original research papers and state of the art reviews will be accepted. We anticipate that the special section will open new entrance for further research and technology improvements in this important area.

Mobile enterprise modeling: supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning
Evolutionary computation, wireless modeling and simulation
Development of new technologies for mobile intelligence and large-scale wireless analysis.
Uncertainty modeling in big data analytics for mobile intelligence
Providing solutions to pressing problems across areas including connected and autonomous vehicles, automation, healthcare, and enterprise security.
Bridge developments in Artificial Intelligence to real mobile applications in collaboration with industry partners.
New generation of scientists to address the skills shortage in these areas and increase competitiveness
Complex systems, multi-agent systems, game theory and statistics
Unpublished manuscripts are welcome. All submissions must not be currently under review for publication elsewhere. Conference papers may be submitted only if the paper is completely re-written or substantially (at least 50%) extended. For additional questions please contact the guest editors. All submitted papers will be peer reviewed using the normal standards of CAEE. By submitting a paper to this issue, the authors agree to referee one paper (if asked) within the time frame of the special issue.

Chan-Yun Yang is the Director of the Intelligent Modeling & Control Lab and an Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, National Taipei University, Taiwan. His career in robotics and artificial intelligence research has spanned many countries. He was awarded a PhD degree from the Department of Bio-Industrial Mechatronics Engineering, National Taiwan University. After obtaining his PhD degree he became a Research Fellow at the Keio-NUS CUTE Center, which is a collaborative research center with locations in both the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Keio University in Japan. He is also actively serving several robotics and AI related journals and conferences as Editorial Board member, Organizing Committee member, workshop organizer and reviewer.
Muhammad Sharif, PhD (IEEE Senior Member) is an Associate Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Cantt Pakistan. He has completed his PhD in Image Processing from COMSATS Institute of IT, Islamabad in 2013. He got his MS (CS) degree from the same institute in 2007 and MCS degree from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad Pakistan in 1995. He has worked one year in Alpha Soft UK based software house as a developer/team leader in 1995. He is an Oracle Certified Professional in Developer Track. He has adopted teaching profession since 1996 to date. He has more than 150 research publications in IF, SCI and ISI journals as well as in national and international conferences and obtained 100+ Impact Factor. He has been supervised 40 MS (CS) thesis till date. Currently, he is supervising 05 PhD (CS) students and co-supervising 10 PhD (CS) students. Recently, one of his student successfully defended PhD (CS) thesis. In addition, more than 350 undergraduate students have successfully completed their degree project work under his supervision. His research interests include Medical Imaging, Biometrics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Agriculture/Plants imaging. He is being awarded with COMSATS Research Productivity Awards continuously since 2010 till now. He has been served in the TPC for the IEEE FIT 2013-17. He is also currently serving as an Associate Editor for IEEE Access Journal and Guest Editor in four Journal special issues as well as reviewer for many well reputed journals. He has headed the Department of Computer Sciences COMSATS Institute of IT, Wah Cantt from 2008 to 2011 and successfully achieved the targeted outputs. He also attended a number of prestigious national and international conferences throughout his career.
Sri Devi Ravana Completed Bachelor of Information Technology (Information Science) in 2000 at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaya), and my Master of Software Engineering in 2001 at University Malaya. Completed PhD at the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, The University of Melbourne in 2011. Currently, heading the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University Malaya, Malaysia. Her research interest is in Information Retrieval Evaluation, Text Retrieval and Heuristics, Data Science, Data Mining and Machine Learning. She has won a couple of Best Paper Awards at International conferences. She actively delivers keynotes and guest lectures at International and National conferences and Research Seminars. She is also very active in having research collaboration with International researchers from well established Universities. Some of the universities she has collaborated with are Hong Kong University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (HK), University fo Auckland (NZ), University of Melbourne (Aus), University of Leeds (UK), Alagappa University (India), Amity University (India), Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology (India), Shiraz University (Iran), Mulungushi University (Zambia) and National University of Science and Technology (Pakistan), University of Gunma (Japan). At National level, she is active in the Society of Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management (PECAMP) and has been appointed as committee member. She has also served as the Secretary for the conference (Fourth International Conference on Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management) organized by PECAMP in 2018. Sri Devi Ravana is also actively involved in community services. She has served as the Vice Chairman (Women Wings) for the Telugu Association of Malaysia (TAM).
