Special Issue Call for Papers:

Motivation
Business core of today’s companies is increasingly based on information technology. Actually, through digital transformation, companies are offering new and disruptive products and services based on new ways of managing information alongside enterprise information systems (EIS). In this context, Quality deserves a special mention, since quality of data and software, among other EIS artefacts, is key to ensure that poor quality prevents to achieve business goals for which EIS were intended for and, therefore, to take a competitive advantage in a changing world. Although there are some advances to manage Quality in EIS, it is usually perceived a gap between the methods and techniques proposed by academia and what is really used in practice by practitioners.

We invite to this special issue high-quality contributions with innovative and significant findings and experiences in the field of quality management practices, methods and techniques in use by academia and industry that serve to reduce the gap between companies needs and how researchers and practitioners employs such methods and techniques in practice. We accept as submissions original and previously unpublished papers as well as extended versions of papers presented at the 13th International Conference on the Quality of Information and Communications Technology (QUATIC 2020).
